Takeuchi’s new TB138FR launched to meet growing demand for a powerful 4 tonne mini with reduced tail swing and the benefits of offset boom performance.

The unique offset boom on Takeuchi machines enables the TB138FR to efficiently operate in confined spaces, especially where a mini is often limited in movement beyond its footprint. Using the offset boom, allows operators to reposition the boom while the mini stays static, this alternative dig position gives easily a further 15 and 30 degree swing angle and digs right up to the edge.

The offset boom working in combination with its reduced tail swing gets access where conventional minis cannot go. With a minimum overhang the stability of the machine is maintained by excellence balance and well positioned counterweights to minimize any tipping risks.

Once again serviceability is built-in, with the traditional Takeuchi features including; tilt-up cab for easy maintenance, multiple ground level access points, advanced radiator and exhaust systems for quick heat release and proven components with reliable reputation.

With a maximum dig depth of 3110mm, dig radius of 5260mm and vertical dig depth of 2365mm it performs well for a 4 tonne at 3860kg. 1740mm wide and 2110mm track length (4715 for transporting) is flexible on site with restricted conditions
