Balloo Hire Centres – with depots across Northern Ireland have recently expanded their Takeuchi fleet with 10 more minis supplied from local dealer Dieci. The new Takeuchi’s bring its Takeuchi fleet to more than 80 across all sizes of machine from small micros up to large 7.5 tonne machines.

 “By far the most popular mini in hire remains the 3 tonne Takeuchi. Despite the downturn in construction and civil engineering activity, we are actually currently experiencing strong levels of demand for the majority of our excavator range; with the Takeuchi TB125 machines being particularly busy. Balloo Hire Centres have proved to be a successful operation in the North, and its performance was rewarded in late 2008, winning Plant Hire Company of the year for the all island Plant, Construction and Quarry awards.

Takeuchi’s dealer for Northern Ireland, Dieci have expanded Takeuchi business very successfully. Local level machine backup is key to dealer success and Dieci have invested in a strong parts and service team to support the growing number of Takeuchi minis in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
