Takeuchi confirm its first place position in the market for mini excavator sales across the UK in the first quarter. Takeuchi now firmly established across Scotland with its extensive dealer network report good sales successes across the region despite the downturn. New dealer Ramsay & Jackson, appointed late in 2008 have made a good early start in the Ayrshire region with machine sales across the range. Recent orders include three new Takeuchi’s sold to plant hire contractor John M Paterson Ltd of Kirkoswald. The three new TB175s add to Paterson’s existing line up of 3 tonne Takeuchi minis, and provide powerful digger operating capacity to the plant hire fleet. “Since taking on the Takeuchi line up it is proving to be a popular choice. Hire firms see Takeuchi as a reliable brand in the fleet and more important a popular choice with operators “ Neil Ramsay of Ramsay & Jackson. Increasing demand for larger excavators highlights the growing versatility of some of the bigger Takeuchi machines TB180FR, TB175 and TB1140. On site these larger Takeuchi diggers are considered relatively compact in size for the operating weight. A compact footprint on machines from 7.5 to 14 tonne gets Takeuchi into the tightest corners others can’t. |
