GI Plant Hire of Whalsay, in Shetland has recently set up a dedicated plant hire operation in Shetland with a line up of Takeuchi excavators.

Starting off with a Takeuchi TB175 eight tonne excavator as a ground works operation GI Plant soon saw the potential for plant hire. The level of interest in the first distinctive red and white Takeuchi machines on Shetland highlighted the demand and popularity of the machines and GI Plant added to the fleet.

Takeuchi machines in the Highlands and Islands are supported by regional dealer JMS Equipment Ltd. Owner Jim Milligan has been keen to develop the Takeuchi range in the region
