L Lynch continue to expand Takeuchi fleet

When choosing to build their excavator plant hire fleet, Wembley based L Lynch have decided upon Takeuchi to fulfil their requirements over recent years. The company bases its purchases on the demands and needs of its customers and feel that Takeuchi offer the best range, features and reliability in the sub 8 tonne sector. L Lynch are constantly upgrading and replacing their plant fleet, and their Takeuchi offering now encompasses some 300 machines, of which a third are 1.5 tonne TB016 machines.

Sales Manager Rob Lynch reveals how the company has developed its Takeuchi fleet: “We have purchased Takeuchi machines for some 9 years now, and our fleet has steadily grown. We initially started with the micro TB108 machines as we found a niche market for this type of excavator, but we now have Takeuchis across the range of 0.8 up to 8 tonnes, including wheeled 7.5 tonne machines.”

L Lynch’s policy is to generally replace machines on a 3 year cycle as customers demand up to date machines on site Mr Lynch explains. Takeuchi’s popularity is all about the operators according to Lynch “Our own operators and self drive operators like the way Takeuchis operate – their controls are smooth right across the range and we are yet to experience any jerky response when in use”

From a plant hire service point of “Takeuchi’s simply don’t have many faults. They are easy to maintain with easy access to all components. On the hire front, they are tough and well built and don’t let us down on site which is vital.”

L Lynch try to offer plant that is really in demand, identifying what each of their numerous customer areas will require now and in the future. Rob Lynch says that the company’s policy is to look at what is happening tomorrow and offer a means to supply it on demand to an exact location at an exact time. “This enables us to give a good service and understand our clients’ requirements” he concludes.
