NEW FOR TAKEUCHI at SED STAND B140 - Takeuchi arrive at SED this year armed with a new 3.5 tonne mini excavator, the TB235

A direct replacement for the current TB135 and available from June onwards Takeuchi’s newest mini introduces major new advances.

Built with all the toughness of the old 2000 series – 100% steel and good powerful bucket dig force 27kN, but it now comes with added height to the dozer blade 30° gradeability, greater access points and a far roomier cab are just some of the new design features.

The new look cab should get attention – The new 3.5 tonne is certainly roomier, with additional storage spaces, plenty of foot room and an adjustable seat with well positioned comfortable arm rests. In fact the operator is truly looked after with the addition of auxiliary port for an MP3, and drinks holders. Air conditioning options are available and operators benefit from assisted front screen with gas spring cylinder assists for an easy lift.

The new machine weighs in at 3500kg and the machine sizes are overall similar and the track footprint size remains the same, although a reduced tail swing of 36mm has been achieved. The new cab design benefits from a far roomier cab some 12% increase and additional foot room.

A more powerful engine adds to the power behind the machine, and meeting all the latest emission and noise regulations, with 4 Tier Yanmar engine 3TNV88 (28.8HP) accompanied by increased alternator capacity from 40 to 55A

With improved engine performance, added rpm and power make all the difference to operation and fast cycle times. The machine improvements are specifically designed to meet tougher site conditions from different applications, tougher ground conditions and also to meet high expectations of the latest operators. Faster cycle times and operating benefits for the driver make the new 3.5 tonne comfortable for long working hours whatever the terrain

For servicing and reliability Takeuchi customers can rest assured the unique Takeuchi tilt-up cab is maintained, getting better access for service intervals when required. Overall the new TB235 is not markedly different in with a similar footprint size.
