Takeuchi are pleased to report Scotland has really taken to Takeuchi machines over the past 12 months and not just mini excavators. Two new Takeuchi tracked loaders have hit Scotland in the past month.

Takeuchi four dealers in the region JMS Equipment, Ness Plant, Thistle Plant Sales and Webb Plant Sales have established a strong regional network for the Takeuchi brand. With over 100 new Takeuchi customers Takeuchi’s distinctive red and white livery are proving popular.

For Scotland the most popular size of mini are the usual suspects, the 3 tonne TB125 closely followed by the highly versatile trailer towable 1.5 tonne TB016. Takeuchi’s line up of 11 mini excavators range from 1 to 8 tonne and on the larger side Takeuchi’s 14 tonne has also been a proven success in the region.

Takes to Takeuchi Track Loaders

The TL range of Takeuchi tracked loaders has made a mark in Scotland in the past 2 months, with two TL 150 machines sold to GRS Construction Services and Caledonian Tree Services where the TL150 fitted with flail mower will be utilized in forestry applications.

GRS Construction Services Limited serves the building industry throughout Aberdeenshire and Inverness-shire. They purchased the first tracked loader from JMS equipment, Takeuchi’s dealer in Turriff.  JMS report a great deal of interest in this versatile yet compact machine with a powerful payload for all types of materials handling on site.

GRS invested in a Takeuchi TL 150 to get a useful tool carrier on site make it a real multi-purpose machine. The Takeuchi range of both mini excavators and tracked loaders are renowned for easy use and easy servicing. Driving only requires a semi skilled operator and once again with the unique tilt up cab access and service is far easier.

For GRS Construction Services the new TL150 is both a cost and time saving option on site. Gordon Skene Company Director, GRS Construction Services Limited “We use it for loading dumpers and topsoil, levelling in between houses in areas which would be inaccessible with a JCB or equivalent. It also allows us to reduce our running costs on our 360 degree machine's tracks and diesel costs.”
