Tony Tite has been appointed Sales Director for Takeuchi Mfg UK Ltd promoted from UK sales manager position he has held for the previous 2 years.

Tony who has worked with Takeuchi since 2004 has a long track record in equipment plant sales.

Commenting on the appointment Michiro Ito Managing Director Takeuchi Mfg UK Ltd.,

“Tony’s promotion to Sales Director follows Takeuchi’s major sales successes across the UK and Eire. Tony has overseen the successful expansion of the Takeuchi dealer network right across the UK and Ireland with six very successful new dealerships in the past 2 years.”

Takeuchi report increases in sales right across the range from 1 tonne up to 14 tonne and still maintain the TB016 and TB125 as the most popular models.

Tony reports

“It is the growing success of the FR machines with 4 models in the range from 2.8 to 8 tonne that we are most pleased with.  Close to 200% increase in sales of FR machines highlights the growing acceptance of the FR operation – a unique concept to Takeuchi machines. The distinctive offset boom has taken time to get market recognition but as more and more plant hire firms add FR minis to the fleet Takeuchi FR machines get acceptance on site with the added versatility when digging and maneuvering”

Reporting on the success of the TB1140 Tony adds

“Once again it has been contractors and civil engineering companies working on specific applications who have found the TB1140 the right specification; it is Takeuchi’s highest specification machine. Just recently plant hire companies with customer demand for high specification have been showing interest in the TB1140”
