The new TB219 model has just arrived and will get one of its first showings at the Scotplant show. Weighing in at 2-tonne the new mini is purpose built for digging deep to 2520mm. With a very stable dig platform and its compact width just 980mm it works well in narrow areas

Takeuchi will feature 11 machines at Scotplant including the complete range of new style Takeuchi minis.

It’s 3-5 tonne machines feature a new style operating platform – the new cab is bigger than average cabs with lots more comfort built in

Takeuchi gets Good in the Snow the recent bad weather saw Takeuchi mini excavators taking to the snow across the region. Good grip on slippy surfaces got many Takeuchi mini excavators digging out cars, drives and roads. Scottish West Coast Takes to Takeuchi

New Takeuchi dealers on the West Coast of Scotland Field Sea Engineering of Oban and Webb Plant Sales of Mull have made a big impact in the region in the last 6 months.

Takeuchi is a fairly new brand of excavator on the West Coast and having a local machinery dealer makes a big difference when trying new machines.

Takeuchi customers in the region are assured of local back up and service, essential for remote locations or the islands when investing in major plant and machinery

So far Takeuchi models sold along the West coast include Takeuchi’s most popular mini the compact 1.5-tonne TB016 – trailer towable with added stability of extendable tracks it has become a preferred choice for utilities contractors and landscapers in the region.

Many local plant hire companies have gone for the bigger sized Takeuchi machines and updated hire fleets with the 7.5-tonne TB175 and 3-tonne mini excavators.
