Takeuchi’s growing army of minis working across the UK and Ireland (estimated more than 12,000) continues to benefit from Takeuchi’s major investment last year in the purpose built Product Support Centre in Rochdale. This month saw the start up of the Takeuchi Training Schools. In the last 12 months Takeuchi has massively expanded its support in Scotland via its new look Dealer Network now with 7 regional dealerships across the country. Takeuchi’s Scottish dealer network was the first to sample Takeuchi’s new Service Training. “Good servicing techniques, retrofit upgrades, fault finding and qualified fitters are an essential part of being a first rate dealer and supporting customer investments. Good servicing and genuine parts can make all the difference to machine performance. All our dealers recognise that After Sales is a vital part of their role and we have invested in the service teams to get the service levels to a high standard” - Kevin McLaren Service Manager In the downturn Takeuchi report many customers are keeping machines for longer and plant hire companies are adding 1-2 years to machines in the fleet. Older machines bring an increased demand on quality of service teams and Takeuchi’s recent investment has made a massive difference to customer support for both parts and service with Training Schools rapidly filling up for places. “Getting genuine parts & service is essential to maintaining equipment, achieving high resale values and minimizing machine problems on-site. Getting a good standard of machine servicing and buying genuine parts is a vital for older machines and Takeuchi’s Scottish dealer network are fully trained for busy times ahead “ - Jim Milligan JMS Equipment . |
