Takeuchi will once again be launching something new for specialist grounds work – a new 2 tonne mini excavator designed to meet the requirements of gravediggers and landscapers for deep ground excavation The new prototype 2-tonne TB219 already seen at this year’s Hire Show will be showcased at Scotplant with availability from late spring 2010. Designed for deep ground excavation the TB219 features a long extended boom arm for the deep digging often required by grave diggers. It works to a dig depth up to 2520mm and gets a massive ground reach of 4280mm – critical when access is limited. Added stability is achieved using the extendable tracks, a well liked feature on Takeuchi’s most popular 1.5-tonne mini. On the new TB219 the tracks extend from 980mm to 1370mm adding massive stability when digging deep. For many the new Takeuchi TB219 is packed full of features popular on the smaller TB016 machine which operators will be familiar with. Available as both a cab and canopy option the TB219 weighs in at 1870kg canopy or 1995kg cab, still compact enough for easy trailer towing to get the machine to site. |
