Takeuchi continues to expand its markets for mini excavators worldwide, setting records across its manufacturing plants in Nagano Japan. On 11th April 2008, the 200,000th Takeuchi machine was manufactured and to no surprise to customers across the globe the model was the most popular Takeuchi ever made the TB125, Takeuchi’s 3 tonne and one of the highly successful 2000 Series. In the past 9 years the TB125 has taken 5% of total volume of Takeuchi machines ever manufactured by Takeuchi, since the start of business in 1971, with the first ever compact tracked excavators.

TB125 – the Popular Choice Since its launch in 1999 the TB125 has proved very popular across many industries but especially plant hire. In the UK and Eire more than 3,600 have been sold, built on its reputation for performance and reliability – essential requirements for any busy plant hire fleet. The significant demand for 3-5 tonne sized minis makes Takeuchi a popular sized option with a variety of users; ground works, building contractors, utilities and plant hire The TB125 was without doubt the most successful model in the 2000 Series of machines. A machine that more than adequately meets the needs of construction and plant hire markets where high specification and reliable compact plant features strongly, “Our customers are looking for reliability, good return on investment and high residual values. - On both counts these machines have proved successful.
