THE BEST OF TAKEUCHI’S SERVICE FEATURES

Probably one of the best service features on Takeuchi machines from 2.4 to 5-tonne is the unique tilt-up cab.

Takeuchi’s full tilt up cab involves a quick unlock from turn table takes approximately 2-3 minutes to get to key components. Very quick and simple, operators and service engineers get easy access to critical service areas.

Takeuchi’s new models also feature improved ground level access for certain service jobs. Both on and off site requires easy maintenance. Typical service checks include easy access for this routine maintenance; refuelling, oil and air filters, water level checks in radiator. Takeuchi introduced separate service doors right around the machine to allow for easier access. Operators get good loud warning devices to help prevent service issues; battery charge, engine oil pressure, coolant temperature, air cleaner, water temperature and fuel gauge.

For hire companies a well positioned hour meter (without the need to climb into the cab) helps maintain its service record and utilization records to help manage regular service intervals.

A one piece extra toughened glass door right down to the foot well again improves visibility. Doors are a vulnerable area of the machine and the option of a glass door can be cheaper than the previous steel/glass combinations
