TAKEUCHI TIGERS achieve a record-breaking season.
Takeuchi UK Sponsor Women’s Rounder Team Takeuchi Tigers
Over the summer of 2023 Takeuchi have been proud to be the main sponsors of a local rounders team, the Takeuchi Tigers, who play in the Rochdale Women’s Rounders League.
With the final game of the season just played, and another win the bag, Takeuchi Tigers hold joint position at the top of the 2nddivision. The team now face a final play-game which could see the Tigers being promoted to the 1st division.
Takeuchi as part of their local community sponsorship programme were very happy to sponsor the Tigers. The team has two Takeuchi members of staff who regularly play, Claire Graves, from Sales Support who has played in the league for 15 years and Holly Cooke from Marketing.
The team is a great example of community spirit and co-operation; formed by a group of friends 45 years ago, the team embraces all ages and abilities for a summer of outdoor sport played in the evenings, local to Takeuchi UK Head office, on Firgrove playing fields.
The Tigers have enjoyed plenty of success this season, with some great games, big scores and record-breaking wins.

Our new team name is Takeuchi Tigers and we all look very professional in our new kits! We’ve had an amazing season this year and as the captain i’ve witnessed some awesome batting and fielding which enables us to have a tight grip on top of the league. We haven’t managed to keep hold of it this year but we came joint second which is a fantastic achievement for us. We’ve had lots of laughs and work so well together as a team! I’m very proud of all the girls… Lets smash it next season”.
