RECORD BREAKING TAKEUCHI FUND RAISER FOR LIGHTHOUSE CLUB

The Takeuchi Time Challenge hosted by Dave Vickers (@DiggingWithDave) provided a massive fund-raising effort for the Lighthouse Club.
The Takeuchi stand at Plantworx was the venue for a record-breaking timed Tyre Stacking Challenge to raise funds for the UK’s Lighthouse Club and we reached our target raising over our target of £3000. Takeuchi would like to thank all the dealers for their generous donations.

Dave worked tirelessly in the heat, engaging with the crowds and keeping everyone entertained.
Contestants included operators and contractors competing against each other and many family members wanting to get the best time.
Our  Takeuchi Dealers continuously tried to out-perform each other. A very big shout out to our dealer for Staffordshire, Craig from J.A. Bloor Agri Services, who got the quickest time of any dealer on the new electric model.

Many operators donated generously and tried to get on the scoreboard and under a minute. They really loved the feel of the digger with its ultra-quick pilot controls and almost silent operation.

Plantworx visitors were quite excited to have a first-ever drive of a Takeuchi Electric Excavator. As one of the most popular brands of  mini excavators worldwide, the industry has been waiting to see just what Electric Excavators Takeuchi will launch in the years to come.

The most experienced operators were asking all the right questions about battery run-time, charging options and performance along with ”Is it on, I can’t hear the engine!”

Ruben Owen from ‘Our Yorkshire Farm’ visited and had a go on the Takeuchi Time Challenge and loved the idea of an electric machine.

The new TB20e was an important part of the Plantworx Student Trail. Many children visited with questions about sustainability, zero-emissions, reducing carbon footprint and going green. All the reasons why Takeuchi have launched an Electric Machine.
