There was plenty to see on Takeuchi’s stand at Plantworx, with more than 20 machines from 1 to 15 tonnes including brand new 3-Series models right across the range.
We were pleased to introduce brand New 3-Series machines including: short tail 3.5-tonne TB335R and 5-tonne TB350R alongside the TB395W wheeled excavator. These new generation Takeuchi excavators were a highlight of the show and got lots of attention.
Takeuchi Time hosted by Dave Vickers (@DiggingwithDave2023) saw hundreds of visitors taking part and donating generously to the Lighthouse Construction Charity. We reached our target raising over £3000 fund-raising for this vital industry charity.
The time challenge on the New TB20e Electric Excavator was a first chance for many operators to test-drive an Electric Digger and the feedback was tremendous on this new zero-emission environmentally friendly carbon-free excavator.
The Takeuchi demo area was one of the most watched zones at Plantworx showcasing the new 3-Series excavators. A highlight in the dig-zone was our demo driver Owen Mays who operated the Wheeled TB395W Excavator (Rubber Duck) winning the Award for Best Demonstrator at Plantworx Construction Show.
