Takeuchi arrive at HILLHEAD 2024 in the ALL NEW SPOT on S2, with a stand packed full of new product.
First up, the new Wheeled 10-tonne, the TB395W is now available with 4-wheel Steer with crab-mode. It’s a machine that has been on everyone’s wait list since its launch last year. Across the UK, Takeuchi rubber ducks have always been a popular choice, the early TB175W and TB295W you still see operating across the region. The latest 3-series model moves on with more in-cab automotive styling, larger cab size and easy service access.
Hillhead will see plenty new TAKEUCHI 3-SERIES – Takeuchi have expanded the line-up of 3-Series excavators and expect to see more in 2024, but at Hillhead there will be 5 models to see.
The new generation 3-Series offer the very latest style with the TB325r, TB335R and TB350R, all with short tail for tight working spaces. Unique to the Takeuchi 3-Series are many enhanced operating features offered as standard. A high-definition monitor with greater functionality and auto styled interior with jog dial control are part of an improved cab design for comfortable all-day operating. With all-round LED lighting, added auxiliaries, quick hitch factory fitted steel pipework and check valves a Takeuchi certainly offers a lot as standard.
First Electric Takeuchi – The brand-new Electric Takeuchi, has been one of the most highly anticipated electric mini excavators for the UK. The new 100% battery powered TB20e is Takeuchi’s first electric mini excavator launched following extensive 2-year field testing.
The new TB20e is a 100% battery powered mini that delivers 8 hours of continuous working time at 65% load. That is a significant output that matches the typical work-rate of its equivalent diesel TB216. The TB20e matches for dig depth, dump height, travel and slew speed.
It features electro-hydraulic controls, 24.7kW lithium-ion battery and 3 charging options: onboard, offboard and tethered. Available with a portable fast charger that securely rests on the blade when transporting.
The Electric Takeuchi has been in the United Rentals fleet for 2 years in the USA and Takeuchi are confident of its performance credentials. It delivers a quieter zero emission model that can get to work anywhere.
