TAKEUCHI AT HIRE SHOW
Takeuchi made a welcome return to the recent executive hire show and enjoyed catching up with hirers from across the UK and Ireland.
The show provided a platform to introduce the new Takeuchi Electric TB20e excavator to the hire industry and the new model was very well received by hirers looking to add electric options to the fleet.
A 100% electric mini excavator the new TB20e offers similar performance to a diesel TB216 equivalent. Hirers were impressed to hear about the 8-hour capacity the new electric model offers – vital for short term hires where excavating has to be done fast and noise free in zero emission zones.
The TB20e is uniquely available with 3 charging options, reassuring for customers on-site looking to go electric. The TB20e comes with 110v and 240V or an optional 3-phase Fast Charger transportable on the dozer blade. The fast charger offers reliable fast charge in 2 hours.
In recent years the new 3-Series third generation Takeuchi excavators have introduced a stylish new look. At the Hire Show visitors saw the 3-Series Takeuchi TB325R short tail. This trailer towable 2.5-tonne has already made a big impact on hirers looking for a high-performance towable alternative.
